A Warm Smile is the Universal Language of Kindness
Last Updated on
As moms, we want the best for our children. We dress our children in the most adorable, tidy outfits and when we send them out into the world we say, “A Warm Smile is the Universal Language of Kindness” We don’t hesitate to get braces for our kids because we want them to have beautiful smiles, to feel confident in the world, and to have healthy teeth for their entire lives.
A Healthy Smile
Did you know that crooked teeth can lead to a whole array of health problems? If your teeth are crooked, you are more likely to suffer from gum disease, tooth decay, jaw discomfort, headaches, ear aches, and even stomach upset. Seeing an orthodontist for braces can help moms avoid a long list of ailments that slow us down.
Today’s braces are easier, less expensive, and less noticeable than when we were children. Invisalign is an especially popular option for moms. Invisalign are clear, almost invisible, plastic aligners that are simply worn over your teeth. Since they are removable, you can brush and floss your teeth as you normally do and won’t be restricted from eating any types of food you normally enjoy. Also, many medical and dental plans now cover all or part of the cost of orthodontics for adults.
Moms also know that our kids will do anything to make us happy. There is nothing that can make your children feel better than seeing their mom’s smile. If you are hesitating to smile or trying to cover your teeth when you smile, your children will notice. Being able to smile easily around your children will have a wonderful, positive impact on your life and theirs.
